Core Volleyball Program Overview
Next Level Volleyball was created as the first 'girls-focused' offering in the Next Level Sports family, built to provide young athletes with the same high-quality, community-driven experience that has defined our programs for years. Today, we are proud to welcome players and families for another exciting season of youth volleyball.
Designed for girls from 3rd through 8th grade, with grade offerings varying by location, Next Level Volleyball emphasizes skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence in a positive and supportive environment. Recent expansion has included boys volleyball programs in select locations as well!
Led by dedicated coaches and backed by the operational excellence that families have come to expect from Next Level Sports, our leagues provide a fun, organized, and development-focused experience where players can learn the game, compete with classmates and friends, and build a lifelong love for volleyball.

Core Volleyball Season Operations
Season Schedule
Each Next Level Volleyball season consists of either 6 or 8 program dates, providing athletes with a fun, organized, and development-focused experience throughout the season. Program locations may occasionally vary based on facility availability and scheduling. Families should reference their specific location schedule for the most up-to-date information.
Grade-Based Divisions
Next Level Volleyball is a grade-based program designed to create age-appropriate instruction and balanced competition. Participants compete within their current school grade level, and players are not permitted to compete in a lower grade division.
One-Day Weekly Commitment
Every weekly program combines instruction and game play into one convenient session. Families only need to set aside approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours each week, depending on the program, making it easy to participate while maintaining busy family schedules.
Skills Development & Game Play
Each program date features instructional volleyball training, with organized scrimmages and game play introduced in later sessions to help reinforce learned skills. Athletes are introduced to serving, passing, setting, hitting, movement, court positioning, and teamwork in a positive, encouraging environment where every participant has the opportunity to grow.
Team Structure
Teams are intentionally kept small, with a maximum roster of approximately 10 players, allowing every athlete meaningful instruction, increased repetitions, and active participation throughout each session.
Student-Athlete Mentor Coaches
Every team is supported by local high school or collegiate Student-Athlete Mentor Coaches who assist with skill instruction, encouragement, and player development throughout the season. Each location is overseen by experienced Site Directors who lead instruction, manage program operations, and ensure every participant enjoys a positive and engaging volleyball experience.
Uniforms & Optional Player Packs
Every registered participant receives an official Next Level Volleyball uniform as part of their league registration. Optional Player Pack items, available for purchase during registration, are typically shipped alongside season uniforms whenever possible, although select items may arrive separately due to production or fulfillment schedules. Prior to production, families will receive a size verification email to confirm their uniform sizing and shipping information.
Communication
Throughout the season, families receive regular email updates regarding schedules, weather, program reminders, and important league information. We encourage participants to monitor their email and their program webpage for the latest updates throughout the season.

Our Development Philosophy
Next Level Volleyball was created to inspire the next generation of girls through the sport of volleyball. Our program provides a fun, organized, and development-focused environment where athletes can build confidence, develop fundamental volleyball skills, and discover a lifelong love for the game.
Designed for girls of all experience levels, our leagues emphasize skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and encouragement in a positive, community-first atmosphere. Whether stepping onto the court for the first time or continuing their volleyball journey, every participant is encouraged to learn, compete, and grow at her own pace.
Community-Based Teams
Whenever possible, teams are formed with classmates, schoolmates, friends, and approved buddy requests to create a familiar and enjoyable experience while strengthening connections within the local community.
Equipment
No prior volleyball experience is required to participate. Next Level provides all essential volleyball equipment throughout the season. Participants should wear athletic court shoes and are encouraged to wear knee pads for added comfort and protection during play.
Parent Sideline Expectations
Parents and families are an important part of the Next Level experience. We encourage enthusiastic support while demonstrating respect for players, coaches, and fellow spectators.
To help create the best environment for every athlete, we ask that parents:
Encourage all players through positive sportsmanship.
Allow coaches and instructors to teach and guide participants without sideline instruction or criticism.
Respect all Next Level staff members and fellow spectators at all times.
Celebrate effort, teamwork, improvement, and confidence each week of the program.
Positive sidelines help young athletes build confidence, enjoy learning, and develop a lasting love for volleyball.
Weather Policy
Because Next Level Volleyball is played indoors, programs are rarely impacted by weather. In the event of severe weather, facility closures, power outages, unsafe travel conditions, or other circumstances affecting program operations, Next Level Sports will communicate any schedule changes or cancellations to registered families as quickly as possible through our official communication channels.
