2025 Next Level Flag Football Season - Placer HS
Welcome to the 2nd season of Next Level Flag Football in Auburn at Placer High School! We are excited to kick things off with Coach Joey Montoya and his staff there.

League Operations
- Season Operations: The Next Level Flag Football season at Placer High School will run with 9 program dates over the program schedule
- Game Dates: All games are on Sundays.
- Team Roster Size: Teams are 10 players maximum, limited exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
- Season Fees: $295.00 - Fees are inclusive of a participant's custom jersey, shorts, use of flags, and other equipment/offerings.
- Uniform Delivery: All season uniforms will be shipped to a participant's home (or provided shipping address). Delivery will occur via USPS and a valid USPS delivery location is required. Participants must keep their shipping addresses up to date for proper delivery. Replacement uniforms will be at the cost of the participant should inaccurate addresses be provided at the time of production.
- Optional Player Packs: During the registration process, participants have the option to purchase additional Player Packs upon check out. For the 2025 Next Level Flag Football season, 5 options are available for purchase (see below). Player Pack costs will be added to the base league registration fees at check out. All Player Pack merchandise will be shipped with your participant's Next Level Flag Football uniform - unless otherwise communicated from our team. Sizing verification will be sent via email as your season uniform heads into production!
- Receiver Gloves - $40.00: Nike Football Receiver Gloves.
- Base Player Pack - $40.00: Nike Player Long Sleeve Shirt featuring the Next Level Player Logo on the front, participant's last name on the back.
- Pro Player Pack - $60.00: Nike Player Hoodie featuring the Next Level Player Logo on the front, participant's last name on the back.
- Performance Pack - $65.00: One pair each: 3/4 Compression Tights (White), Short Sleeve Compression Shirt (White).
- Baller Player Pack - $185.00: Nike Receiver Gloves, Nike Player Hoodie, Nike Player Long Sleeve Shirt, and the Compression Pack all in one!

All teams will play games through the entire 9-week program schedule regardless of their seeding in the Playoff Weeks.

Site Director: Joey Montoya and Tim Mulvehill
Coach Montoya has been a head football coach for 21 years, with the last 17 being at Placer HS. Coach Montoya's record in his tenure at the varsity level is 170-65, and 10-0 as a JV HC when he opened up a new HS in 2003 with just Sophomores and Freshman. In 19 years as a varsity HC (1 Covid season), his teams have won 13 league titles, have been to the CIF finals 7 times and have been to the playoffs 18 years. In 2017 his team won a CIF and NORCal championship, and was runner up in the State. At Placer teams have won 10 out of the last 11 league titles and have been to the playoffs 15 years in a row with 6 trips to the CIF finals. 18 of his 19 seasons his teams have been ranked in the Sac Bees top 25 teams. In 2004, with only juniors and sophomores, his team won a league title. Coach Montoya believes in being a transformational coach and loves the relationships that coaching develops.
Tim Mulvehill is an exceptional coach and dedicated professional with extensive experience in coaching. He has successfully mentored athletes at renowned institutions such as Central Washington University and the University of Texas San Antonio. Tim's commitment to excellence is not limited to the field; he actively engages in community programs and volunteers at nursing facilities. With his expertise and passion, Tim creates a supportive and nurturing environment for athletes to grow, build confidence, and thrive. His coaching philosophy focuses on developing essential skills both on and off the field.
