General Registration opens for all participants on Monday, March 16th at 9:00 AM PST.

League Operations
- Season Operations: The Next Level Basketball season in Los Gatos at Los Gatos High School will run from September through early November with 8 program dates over the program schedule.
- Game Dates: All games are on Sundays - check the schedule below for details!
- Grade Based Organization: Next Level is a grade-based organization, players play in their designated grade level.
- Practices/Game Schedule: All practices and games are on the SAME DAY - parents need only allocate a 1.5-hour window of availability each week for their child's involvement in the program. Practice hours take place immediately prior to a participant's scheduled game time.
- Game Play: Each Next Level game is 5 vs. 5, with no backcourt pressure as the defense is picked up after mid-court.
- Student Mentor Coaches: All teams are assigned a High School (or local area high school) student-athlete as a Head Coach/Mentor. Parent volunteers are to ASSIST our student-athletes and ENABLE them in their role as the head coach of their respective team(s). The interactions and expectations of the Student Coach and Parent Volunteer Coaches are governed within the Next Level Rule Book.
- Team Roster Size: Teams are comprised of 10 players maximum, limited exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
- Season Fees: $315.00: Fees are inclusive of a participant's custom jersey, shorts and other equipment/offerings.
- Uniform Delivery: All season uniforms will be shipped to a participant's home (or provided shipping address). Delivery will occur via USPS and a valid USPS delivery location is required. Participants must keep their shipping addresses up to date for proper delivery. Replacement uniforms will be at the cost of the participant should inaccurate addresses be provided at the time of production.
- Optional Player Items for Purchase: During registration, participants have the option to purchase additional ‘A La Carte’ or 'Player Pack' items during check out. These are optional purchases to go along with your program registration fees. Optional player items for purchase will be added to your base league fees (which include the cost of your participants’ uniform) at checkout. All merchandise will be shipped directly to the home along with your participant’s season uniform - unless otherwise communicated from our team. Sizing verifications (where applicable) will be sent during late summer via email, prior to uniform production and shipping!

- Kindergarten/1st Grade - 8:00 AM Practice/8:30 AM Game
- 2nd Grade - 9:30 AM Practice/10:00 AM Game

- 6th/7th Grade - 6:00 PM Practice/6:30 PM Game

All teams will play games through the entire 8-week program schedule regardless of their seeding in the Playoff Weeks.

Site Director: Nick Ward & Sara Quilici Giles
Coach Ward just completed his seventh season as the varsity head coach at Los Gatos High School where he helped lead the Wildcats to the Central Coast Section (CCS) Division 1 Championship and Santa Clara Valley Athletic League (SCVAL) De Anza League Championship. Under Coach Ward, the Wildcats have won three consecutive league titles, two CCS championships, and have qualified for the Northern California playoffs three times. Nick grew up in San Jose and attended Willow Glen High School where he excelled in baseball and basketball. He and his wife, Ashley, live in Los Gatos with their two children Lucas and Mackenzie.
