About Next Level Summer Camp
Next Level Volleyball Camp helps youth athletes of all experience levels build strong fundamental skills in a fun, supportive environment. Campers will learn through a mix of individual and small-group drills focused on proper technique. This includes serving, passing, setting, hitting, and defensive positioning along with structured warm-ups, conditioning, skill work, and daily review in every session.
Coach Del Grande, supported by local high school athletes, leads the program with an emphasis on core skill development, smart decision-making, and plenty of Next Level game action.
No prior volleyball or Next Level experience is required. Scroll down for the full camp curriculum.

Camp is open to participants from 4th to 8th grade (2026/2027 school year)!

Site Director: Maggie Del Grande
Maggie Del Grande was born and raised in Castro Valley. A former two-sport Trojan athlete (softball and volleyball), Maggie graduated from CVHS in 2017, where she excelled as a defensive standout out the court. Continuing her playing career as an outside hitter/defensive specialist at Ohlone College (2017-2019), her Renegades squad broke and still hold the record for single season wins (20+). Maggie returned to Castro Valley High School as a coach in 2020, and took over the reins of the program and the varsity volleyball team in 2021. She has since guided the Trojans to the NCS playoffs every season - in 2023, she coached the team to their first league championship since 2002. Maggie has also coached club for 7 years and is currently a CVUSD substitute teacher.
