The Next Level Girls Volleyball program is designed to introduce young athletes to the fundamentals of competitive volleyball in an engaging and developmentally appropriate environment. Our program is aimed at the youth athlete who has 'some-to-none' exposure/experience, offering them the opportunity to build essential skills and gain confidence as they prepare for future participation at the club, middle school, or high school level.
Our coaching staff features dedicated CSM student-athletes and experienced coaches who bring a wealth of knowledge from teaching the game at all levels—from beginner to elite club and high school play. Consistent with Next Level’s tradition, every team benefits from the guidance of a student-athlete mentor, ensuring personalized instruction and a strong sense of connection and inspiration for participants.

League Operations
- Season Operations: The Next Level Girls Volleyball program at College of San Mateo will run with 8 program dates over the program schedule.
- Program Dates: This program operates on Sundays at College of San Mateo (with the exception of 1 weekend) - parents need only allocate up to a 1.5 hour window of availability for their child's involvement.
- Program Details: This program is focused primarily on instructional skill development, providing athletes with targeted training and structured drills to build a strong foundation in volleyball fundamentals. Players will have ample opportunities to enhance their skills through structured drills, with modified gameplay scenarios introduced gradually as fundamental techniques are established. Unlike other Next Level programs that follow a distinct practice-to-game format, the volleyball program integrates instruction and team play throughout the program. There are no fixed transitions from practice to match play. Instead, players will be guided through various skill-building exercises led by Next Level Volleyball coaches, gradually progressing toward more team-oriented scrimmages in the latter portion of the program.
- Team Roster Size: Teams are 10 players maximum, limited exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
- Season Fees: $365.00 - Fees are inclusive of a participant's custom volleyball uniform and other equipment/offerings.
