About Next Level Summer Camp
Next Level Beach Volleyball Camp helps youth athletes of all experience levels build strong fundamental skills in a fun, supportive environment. Campers will learn through a mix of individual and small-group drills focused on proper technique. This includes serving, passing, setting, hitting, and defensive positioning along with structured warm-ups, conditioning, skill work, and daily review in every session.
Coach Guevara, supported by local college athletes, leads the program with an emphasis on core skill development, smart decision-making, and plenty of Next Level game action.
No prior volleyball or Next Level experience is required. Scroll down for the full camp curriculum.
All campers receive a Next Level Summer Camp Nike Dri-FIT T-shirt included with registration!

Camp is open to participants from 7th to 12th grade (2026/2027 school year)!

Site Director: Dawnis Guevara
Dawnis Guevara has over 30 years of volleyball experience both as a coach and player. She was a standout player at San Jose State University, and ended her career as the all-time leader in kills with 1,426. Guevara was also a professional volleyball player with the San Jose Storm for 4 years, playing with various Olympic and professional beach players. She earned an AAA rating in beach volleyball.
Dawnis has led the De Anza Program for the past 21 seasons, with an impressive win record bringing the Lions to 274 victories and counting. Dawnis has been honored as Conference Coach of the Year 7 times, and left a large impact on the student athletes that have passed through the program.
Coach Guevara is excited to continue to bring volleyball to the De Anza community through Next Level Sports.
