2020 San Mateo Basketball Summer Camp at Hillsdale High School
Join us this summer for the Next Level Basketball Camp in San Mateo at Hillsdale High School! We will be offering two summer camps. The first will run from June 22nd to June 26th and the second July 6th to July 10th. Both camps are open to players from 2nd grade to 8th grade (2020/2021 school year).
Next Level Basketball Camp teaches sound fundamental offensive and defensive basketball skills to both experienced and beginner youth athletes. Individual and group drills will be demonstrated to teach basic techniques. Proper warm-up, physical conditioning, skills drills and review are part of each scheduled session. Coach Badet, assisted by his staff and select current & former players will be your coaches. The focus is on fun, fundamental skills and safety during this five day camp.
All camp attendees will receive a Next Level Summer Camp Nike Dri-Fit T-shirt along with other summer camp items which are included in the cost of the program!

Camp Overview
Next Level Basketball Camp helps develop players of all abilities by focusing on fundamental skills and knowledge of the game. The morning and afternoon sessions will begin with a warm-up and then move into drills to develop footwork, proper floor spacing, ball handling, shooting and defensive principles. After drills, campers will shift to 5-on-5 competitive gameplay to apply learnings directly. All-day campers will have the benefit of two skill sessions per day.

Morning Session: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Afternoon Session: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Full Day Session 9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The summer camp program is open to all upcoming 2nd through 8th grade participants. Previous Next Level experience is NOT REQUIRED. Camp is co-ed and open to all qualifying grade level participants.

Site Director: David Badet
David Badet is currently in his fourth year at Sonoma State University. Before attending Sonoma State, David graduated from Hillsdale High School where he played 4 years of high school basketball and baseball, while spending 3 years at the varsity level in each sport. In his last 4 years at Sonoma State, he has been a staff member of the men's basketball team. His tasks have ranged from running the clock during practice and being a passer and rebounder during drills as a freshman to now coordinating and coaching both offensive and defensive strategies for our team everyday in practice and during games to best prepare the team and staff.
