Dear Next Level Flag Football Families at Serra:

I can’t believe we are entering our last regular season weekend! On tap is another beautiful weather day for Sunday March 22^nd…what a difference a week makes! The rain was fun (kind of) I’ll take 72 degrees and perfect weather any day of the week.

I wanted to take this opportunity to explain our scheduling and our playoff system now that we are nearing the 2015 finish line. Our scheduling software does not allow us to list our playoff games until we know who is playing (I agree, not sure why we can’t list To Be Determined games and we are working with the software company to fix it.

We understand that your online schedules end on February 22^nnd 2015…but everybody is guaranteed a 10 game season. We started on Sunday January 4^th with the scrimmage and the 2015 season will end on Sunday March 8^th for the majority of our Serra/CSM Teams. Teams playing for the Step Up Bowl Championships in grades 1^st – 6^th will play the Championship Games on Sunday March 15^th @ Serra.

Please read below for further playoff details on all of our divisions.

ATTNETION ALL NL FLAG TEAMS  IN ALL DIVISIONS  @ SERRA/CSM

ALL TEAMS IN ALL DIVISIONS WILL PLAY SUNDAY MARCH 1^ST AND SUNDAY MARCH 8^TH

Serra Location Kindergarten Playoff System:

We have 8 teams in our Kindergarten Division – 10:00 AM Start Time on March 1^st and March 8^th. The Season will conclude for all Kindergarten NL Families on Sunday March 8th

1. Teams who Finish 1 - 4 will play for the Step up Bowl Championship
   1. Semi Finals will be on Sunday March 1^st 
   2. Championship Games will be on Sunday March 8^th 
2. Teams who Finish 5 – 8 will still play their final two games on March 1^st and March 8^th.

Grades 1^st  –  6^th Playoff System

We have 12 teams in our 1^st through 6^th grade divisions. The top 8 teams will make the Step Up Bowl Championship Division. Here are some more important notes:

1. Teams who finish 9^th - 12^th will still play in the final two weeks of the season on Sunday March 1^st and Sunday March 8^th at our CSM Location
2. Games on Sunday March 1^st and Sunday March 8^th for teams 9^th – 12^th will be held at CSM During our regularly scheduled times that we have established for this year:
   1. 1^st and 2^nd Grades will practice at 9:00 AM and Play at 10:00 AM
   2. 3^rd and 4^th Grades will practice at 10:00 AM and Play at 11:00 AM
   3. 5^th and  6^th Grades will practice at 11:00 AM and play at 12:00 PM
   4. Note: Until our final games are played this weekend we won’t know the final standings and will not be able to tell your exact schedule until all games are completed on 2.22.2015.
3. Teams who finish 1^st – 8^th will play for the Step Up Bowl Championship
4. All games will be played at regularly scheduled Division Times at the Serra Location over the final two weekends (Sunday March 1^st, Sunday March 8^th)
   1. 1^st Grade will Practice and Play 10:00 and 11:00
   2. 2^nd Grade will Practice and Play 11:00 and 12:00
   3. 3^rd Grade will Practice and Play 12:00 and 1:00
   4. 4^th Grade will Practice and Play 1:0 and 2:00
   5. 5^th Grade will Practice and Play 2:00 and 3:00
   6. 6^th Grade will Practice and Play 3:00 and 4:00
   7. Note: Until the last two weekends are played we won’t know the final standings and will not be able to tell your exact schedule until all games are completed on 2.22.2015
5. Because we have increased the amount of teams in these divisions from 8 in 2014 to 12 in 2015 we will have 8 teams in the Step Up Bowl Division (3 Playoff Rounds)
6. The Playoffs will go for three rounds this season
   1. Teams that DO NOT make the Finals season will end on 3.8.2015
   2. Teams that DO make the Finals will play an additional week on 3.15.2015
