After winning league Defensive MVP honors, he received scholarship offers from multiple colleges. Coach Andrews would opt to continue his education and football career at the University of Oregon, where he played linebacker for the Ducks. He returned to South Florida after graduating where he began his career as a high school teacher and coach. Ultimately, he would settle in the Bay Area where he's been teaching and coaching for the last 9 years.
